ABC Foods, the nation’s largest food and restaurant conglomerate, announced the launch of a new fast food chain, New Day Deli. The restaurant will feature fresh custom entrees, sandwiches, soups and desserts.

“Many people love fresh deli food, but most delis are local, “said ABC CEO Fred Stooter. “We felt there was a niche for a new type of convenience restaurant for people who are looking for something special and varied.”

Although there are many sandwich chains, New Day intends to offer more, having developed a cutting edge means of fresh food storage. “At New Day you’ll be able to get just about anything,” Stooter continued. “Our patented Fresh Forever refrigeration technology has changed the game in fast foods. It allows us to keep more types of foods on site longer.”

ABC will open New Day stores in major cities in the West and also a few in the East by spring. Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Chicago, Dallas and New York are all on tap for franchises. Beyond that, more restaurants are planned. “Our goal is one-hundred stores in three years,” Stooter said.
