Question: I have a gif that I would like to shrink. How do I go about that without it looking pixelated?-submitted by Gary from Motion Internet

Answer: Make sure that you switch the image back to RGB. GIF's are in indexed color so after you switch it back to RGB, you will not be losing the resolution.

After you have found the right size, make sure to change it back to indexed color. Then you can save without even changing the file name. This is only if you want to SHRINK an image. Enlarging an image is a lot more complicated. It is always better to shrink an image.
